I’ll have the quieter work that I have been dreaming about in this show

Hello my fellow lovers of textiles!

A couple of years ago, I made the very bold intention

to migrate from my love of the rugs and their inherent explorations of color

to something else…..

Something quieter.

I had thought I could make that shift sooner than later,

but I am finding that it is a slower transition

than my enthusiasm and hours in the day allow.

So for now,

let us just say that there will still be rugs to be found at art festivals

with the knowledge that I am working towards a change.

A change that will celebrate the quieter sides of our lives,

and all of the loveliness that this world abounds in.

each and every story shared fills my heart with our shared humanity Beautiful and messy both.
